Formatting Diagrams in Diagram Master

Introduction

This video demonstrates how to format a diagram created with Diagram Master.  We can use Diagram Master selection tools along with Excel’s formatting tools to achieve the look we desire.

Formatting All Nodes

First let’s change the format of all nodes.  To select all nodes click the select nodes button on the ribbon.  We can change various aspects of the nodes using Excel’s formatting tools.

Selecting/Deselecting Individual Nodes

We can also format a subset of nodes by holding down the shift key and selecting the nodes to format.

If you want to format all nodes except a few, you can this by clicking the Select Nodes button on the ribbon.  Then hold down the shift key and deselect any nodes that will not be formatted.

Formatting All Connectors

We can change the format of all connectors at the same time by clicking the Select Connectors button on the ribbon.  We can change connector properties using Excel’s formatting tools.

Selecting/Deselecting Individual Connectors

We can also format a subset of connectors by holding down the shift key and selecting the nodes to format.

If you want to format all connectors except a few you can do this by clicking the Select Connectors button on the ribbon.  Then hold down the shift key and deselect any connectors that will not be formatted.
